Would you like to adopt a little bit of Camp Bethel history?

John Friend Hunting Lodge, built in approximately 1929 (and then called Ely Lodge), and the first building purchased at the inception of Camp Bethel, is in great need of a refurbish. The building, which contains nine separate bedrooms, is up for “adoption”.

What this really means is that groups and individuals are encouraged to “adopt” a room and refurbish it to a theme (to be chosen by the adoption group (& the approval of the executive director). Costs and labor would be the responsibility of the adopting group.

This work would include paint/wall cover, floors/floor covering, purchase of a queen size bed and the bedding, and curtains or window coverings. Suggestions include, but are certainly not limited to:
