Camp Bethel Activities
There are many activities at Camp Bethel and the Surrounding Area. Whether it's a trip to the beach or the Olympic Rainforest, or just staying around camp there is always something to do.
Here are a few of our activities that are offered at different times and seasons of the year.
FISHING
We are right on the Humptulips River. Fall is a great time to check out all the fun fishing - trout, steelhead, and salmon here at camp or on the many rivers in Grays Harbor.
CLAMMING
Just a short trip to many of the Ocean Beaches in the area and you will be digging for the delicious Razor Clams. Our seasons vary so please check with us, or join one of our scheduled Clamming Retreats!
SPRUCE GOOSE ON THE LOOSE CAFE'
The Spruce Goose on the Loose Cafe is a great place for you to grab that hot cup of Coffee while you recover from all the many activities around camp. Order a "Roy" and enjoy the fresh brewed coffee while supporting Camp Bethel.
BOATING
We have plenty of canoes and kayaks ready to launch on Lake Damon
The Whirlybird
A one of a kind rotating swing set for all ages.
Courtyard, Field, and Board Games
Whether you are out in the field, enjoying our courtyard, or spending some time inside on a rainy day, we have a variety of games, including Giant Chess, Volleyball, Giant Jenga, Uno, and Risk.
Campfires
We have three different firepits you can enjoy relaxing beside in the evenings as well as use for evening worship, silly, songs, or roasting s'mores.
Coming Attractions
We are constantly adding to our available activities as we revitalize our grounds. Included in our plans are new hiking trails, archery, and a return of horseback riding and paintball.
